The 12th Beyond Humanism Conference has to be postponed due to COVID-19 crisis. It is planned to be held from the 7th until the 10th of July 2021.

Meanwhile, we are creating an online forum where  those interested can register. There, we will be able to share written reflections on the situation from post-trans-metahumanistic perspectives. Please join the discussion rooms in posthumans2021.slack.com.  If you are interested in participating, please contact Prof. Evi Sampanikou e.sampanikou@gmail.com. This is our meeting point/wiki, where we can exchange reflections, texts, videos and share links, mostly related to the current situation. We are very much looking forward to hearing your reflections!

This online process will focus on the crisis without excluding people from sharing the papers already sent to the call, as videos or texts in process. The core of the forum’s discussion around the pandemic will be “texts in process” that people can alter as the process evolves. In this way, you all can participate, no matter in which part of the world you live.

During the initially programmed dates, between the 1st and the 4th of July 2020, there will be an onlineBeyond Humanism Forum” with videoconference sessions with invited panelists on a number of topics as well as intensive debate sessions in the slack online forums. The videoconferences will be streamed on youtube and recorded and posted in the “Posthumans go viral” video channel and questions for discussion can be raised live in the video chat. Soon, the program will be announced on the BHC website, the Slack forum and other sites. Watch out for updates!

Please also check the video channel “Posthumans go viral” in which several intellectuals share some posthuman reflections on the coronavirus crisis: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6jO-KdbkU2v2h0CxiyTyHg More videos will be forthcoming soon.
